Cookie exchange sign-up sheet

Each baker claims a cookie from one link, so the swap has a dozen kinds — not a dozen of the same.

How it works and questions

How a cookie exchange works

Each guest bakes one kind of cookie — a dozen for every other guest, plus a dozen to put out on the day — and everyone goes home with a box of mixed cookies. It only works if the kinds don't repeat, which is what the list is for.

  • 8 guests? Each bakes about 8 dozen, or agree on half-dozens
  • Ask everyone to bring the recipe on a card
  • Remind guests to bring an empty box or tin to take cookies home
  • Nut-free in the group? Mark it in the item: “Shortbread (nut-free)”

How it works

  1. 1Tap “Make the cookie exchange list” above. Swap in the cookies your group loves.
  2. 2Send the link to the group chat or email — nothing to print.
  3. 3Each baker taps the cookie they're making and types a name. Taken cookies show for everyone.

The date is the Saturday before Christmas. Most swaps are earlier in December — change it in the sentence.
